Hand Talker, Eye Talker
Mo is such a kibbitzer. He tells a story with his whole body, but especially his hands. Today I told him, if his hands were tied, I bet he wouldn't be able to say a word. He'd be tongue-tied.
Mo rose to the challenge. He asked his dad to hold his hands behind his back, then tried to tell a story about his class rehearsing a song for their upcoming Thanksgiving assembly. When he got to the turkey's part in the song, his shoulders started moving as much as his hands had before.
He tried again. He got to the turkey's part. No hands moving. No shoulders moving. This time it was the eyebrows. When I pointed this out, Mo burst into gales of laughter. He tried again. Each time, he'd get to a certain line, and his eyebrows just had to raise, then he'd laugh at himself. We were all in hysterics at the sight.
